Coronation of Emperor Napoleon I

Here's what I've been up to lately - doing this jigsaw puzzle of the coronation of Napoleon I. At least, that's the name of the painting. I would have called it the coronation of Queen Josephine since that's what's being depicted...

Anyway, we bought this at Chateau des Versailles when we went to visit Francoise. It's a tiny replica of a HUGE painting. As tall as a wall in your normal HDB flat. I really like this painting cos it's breathtaking how the painter (Jacques-Luis David) managed to do something that size.. I'm no art critic - all I know is that I like it :)

As you can see, I've so far managed to do the border and the main part of the action with Napoleon, Josephine and the priests... can't find Josephine's face yet though...
