One week in Beijing

Was in Beijing last week to attend a human rights workshop. Din have much free time, so I only got to see the Forbidden City (costs 60RMB to get in, roughly S$12). Felt like I was in a swordsfighting serial :P until I saw Starbucks in there! Anyway, only thing I really liked about Beijing was the FOOD FOOD FOOD!! So yummy and so cheap! There's a Singaporean restaurant there called Boat Quay, and I got to eat my char kway teow and hokkien mee for a very reasonable sum..
