revival! that's the word!

many "first times" for me today. i drove our car for the first time today. it was raining, crowded, n the engine stalled several times. kenna honked at for the first (and many other) times as well. cos engine stalled lah.. not used to the car yet, which has a very high biting point, plus geneva seems to be full of slopes... u get the picture :P

today i also got "arrowed" to interpret the sermon. we had a guest, Joan, who only spoke english, so the pastor asked me at the last minute (this is like 5 min before the service began) to stand up in front with him and do the translation. so stressful! i got stuck at this one word - "reveil", which usually means awakening, but in the christian context is better translated as "revival". so anyway, the pastor had to help me with the word, but somehow it didn't stick in my mind so the next time he said "reveil", i got stuck again :P but thank God it all went well in the end :)
