Living dangerously...

We nearly ran afoul of the law again.

this never happens in singapore, but Geneva because is really bordering France, you can literally wander into France without knowing!

So today we thought we'd drive up to St Cergue - this nice mountain in SWITZERLAND about 35min away from our place. After stopping for a nice hot chocolate there, we decided to drive up a bit further before turning back home. Alas, as we were driving happily up, we suddenly found ourselves at the border! Too late to stop, we tried to u-turn, and ended up on this other road. Safe, we thought. But we were wrong. We were in FRANCE!!! And without passports!!!

You have to understand - we had no intention to go to France today. So of course we weren't carrying our passports. So we were really worried that we'd get checked at the customs when we entered Switzerland again.

Murphy's Law - we not only had to drive by the customs, there was also a roadblock on the way down the mountains.

But thank God! (and yes, we were praying hard by now :P) We were waved through the roadblock (the car in front of us got stopped and checked) and later we were also waved through the checkpoint. Praise God! :)

So yes, that was our most exciting Sunday afternoon. How was yours? :P
